How have Laurie and David responded to The Wave? Differences?

Laurie thinks that The Wave is creepy and she doesn't like it, meanwhile David thinks that The Wave is great, and it can really help the football team!
They really like it! They are trying to convince others to live this way... I don't know if that is good or not. It could work well unless they start beating up little Jewish boys. That would make it go way down hill!!!
Laurie has responded to the wave by becoming a little bit weary and concerned, because she thinks it might be going too far. David has responded to the wave by thinking it is exactly what him and the football team need. Since they both have such different feelings i think it might affect their relationship.

I think they definitely think its helping them and they think they really need help but i don't think that was the way to discipline them
